On Thursday, the United Nations dismissed a declaration of independence from Pakistan by certain Balouthes separatists, claiming that the world body represents the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all the Member States, including Pakistan.
Answering a question from Kurdish TV journalist during the regular briefing in New York, the deputy spokesman for the UN Farhan Aziz Haq, said: “Well, we simply send you back to the UN Charter, including the fact that the Charter maintains the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, and that would include Pakistan.”
