The use of the exchange of crypto no longer works illegally in France

Crypto Exchange Bybit no longer works illegally in France in the eyes of the country’s financial regulator, its CEO announced on Friday.

The exchange concerned the regulatory black list of France for more than two years, said Ben Zhou, CEO of Bybit on Friday, in a post.

“After more than two years of work with the French regulator thanks to several correction efforts, Bybit is now officially withdrawn from France AMF Blacklist,” he said.

A search for the Database Authority of Financial Marches (AMF) confirms that Bybit, the second largest world exchange in volume, is no longer on the blacklist.

Last May, the regulator advised people that the appeal was not registered to operate in the country and encouraged investors to make arrangements so that the platform ends up “ceases”. Shortly after the opinion, Bybit said that he would stop offering products to French nationals.

But now, the CEO of the exchange hopes that he will be able to obtain a market license in Crypto Assets (Mica).

“The License of Mica then,” said Zhou on X. Companies are trying to obtain the Licated Mica license, which would allow them to operate in the 30 European economic nations.

The exchange based in Dubai knows how to return after receiving regulators. Recently, Bybit managed to obtain a license in India after paying a fine of $ 1 million.

Neither Bybit nor the AMF returned requests for comments.
