The vice-marshal Air Aurangzeb Ahmed of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has become one of the most wanted people in Pakistan, after increased military tensions with India earlier.
The interest of research for “Aurangzeb” increased sharply in Pakistan on May 12, 2025, the data from Google Trends showing a peak value of 100 to 2:00, the highest point recorded during last week.
The trend has maintained high levels from the peak, indicating public commitment and public interest for the PAF spokesperson.
Aurangzeb Ahmed, who is the official spokesperson for the PAF, gained popularity among the Pakistani public, in particular young people, for his compound behavior and his subtle humor during press points.
In a widely broadcast clip, the vice-aerial marshal said: “I’m going to resume where I left, day before yesterday, Paf vs IAF, 6-nile”, referring to Pakistan reported by five Indian planes during climbing. The count would have included three Rafale jets, a su-30, a mig-29 and a combat drone.

The PAF has targeted the greatest number of aircraft of the Indian Air Force aerodromes (IAF) in a single mission since the 1971 war, the vice-swamp of Air Aurangzeb Ahmed said on Sunday.
In a press conference, the vice-marshal, said that the PAF strikes had been made with precision and deliberately avoided civil infrastructure. He also declared that the operation was a quick response and calculated on recent escalations, aimed at dissuading new hostilities.
“The mission was carried out according to our conditions, according to clear instructions from management,” said Vice-Maréchal Airangzeb.
“India has attempted to establish a” new normal “thanks to an aggressive escalation. The rapid and coordinated response from Pakistan refused this opportunity,” said Aurangzeb Ahmed, adding that military radar and Pakistan interrening systems have also intercepted several Indian drones intended for civil zones.
