Nikki apologizes to Lee DiCaprio, but why?
Comedian Nikki Glaser paid tribute to nominee Leonardo DiCaprio by recounting some of his most dazzling professional achievements.
In his monologue, Glaser dropped the punchline: “The most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of this before your girlfriend was 30,” a dig at DiCaprio, who is dating 27-year-old Italian model Vittoria Ceretti.
When the gag fell flat, Glaser expressed regret, but then shifted the blame to DiCaprio, suggesting his public persona left little else to discuss.
“The most in-depth interview you gave was for Teen Beat magazine in 1991,” she gagged.

Teyana Taylor’s tearful triumph
In the first upset of the night, Taylor took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy over Amy Madigan for her nuanced performance in One Battle After Another.
Taylor jumped out of his seat when the announcement came.
She then gave the best speech of the evening, flaunting the “party in the back” of her dress, before breaking down in tears over her children and warning them: “You better turn off your damn phone and watch me right now.”
The very first Podcast category of the Globes
The Globes’ first-ever Podcast category: Before Snoop Dogg presented the award, Glaser spoofed the category with a parody of Nicole Kidman’s infamous AMC commercial, joking, “Speech feels good in a place like this.”
Amy Poehler won the first-ever category trophy for her podcast, Good shotand joked in his acceptance speech, which is causing a buzz among Internet users.
Admitting that she is naive to the genre, she shared her “great respect” for the format and her fellow nominees.
Poehler joked: “I’m big fans of all of you, except NPR, just a bunch of celebrities calling you. Try harder.”
Kpop Demon Hunters Historic Victory
Social networks are also abuzz with the historic victory of Demon Hunters Kpop.
Netflix’s “Golden” Demon Hunters KPop won the award for Best Original Song, becoming the first K-pop song to triumph in this category.
Singer and songwriter EJAE’s teary-eyed speech stunned social media users.
EJAE, reflecting on how rejection pushed her forward, said, “I worked tirelessly for 10 years to achieve a dream: to become a K-pop idol. And I was rejected. Now I’m here as a singer and songwriter.”
When Melissa and Kathryn show men some love
Teasing a new milestone, Kathryn Hahn told co-anchor Melissa McCarthy that men would have their own acting category, then joked about how men are behind women when it comes to acting.
“Since men began acting in 2015, they have graced our screens with power and beauty,” Hahn joked, while McCarthy added, “Men can play so many roles. Husband! Ex-husband! Secretary! And everyone’s favorite: the nosy neighbor.”
The first Gobles of Connor & Hudson
Adding another newbie to the 2026 Globes, Passionate rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, who took home the award for Best Actress in a Drama Series, which made Storrie a little nervous.
“Take a deep breath and imagine everyone in the audience…you know,” Williams calmly told her hyperventilating co-star, winking at the show’s infamous nudity. “I don’t think it’s really working, since everyone has seen us… you know,” he clapped back.
Tribute to Rob Reiner from Nikki
Glaser closed out the star-studded evening of the 2026 Globes, honoring the late filmmaker Rob Reiner with a subtle tribute.
While saying goodnight to him, she wore a hat bearing the logo from her 1984 debut film. Lumbar Tapin which he also played the role of filmmaker Marty Di Bergi.
This was the only warning given to Reiner during the ceremony, in part due to the missing commemorative segment.
