- Meta and Oakley have published their intelligent unlimited edition glasses
- They are ready to pre -order before a release of August 26
- They start at $ 399 / £ 399 / $ 629 at
Oakley and Meta finally started their six HSTN smart glasses with unlimited edition, and they are all available for pre -order now, before their release on August 26.
We also also have prices for smart specifications, which is important. The cheapest pairs – black frame with clear objectives, or a hot gray frame with Ruby Prizm lenses – are $ 399 / £ 399 / $ 629 at, followed by $ 449 / £ 449 / pairs of $ 699 at – Black frames with Prizm Black Polarized lenses, or brown smoke frames with Prizm deep water lenters.
In the United Kingdom, black with black polarized lenses is currently listed as £ 499, which we assume an error, simply because they are the same price as the brown smoke specifications in other regions. We contacted Meta for clarifications on this subject.
Otherwise, the two most expensive pairs – excluding Oakleys in an existing limited edition – are at $ 479 / £ 479 / $ 719 in. This allows you either a black frame with clear transition lenses in Amethyst or a clear frame with clear to gray transition lenses.
We will soon test a pair of these oakleys, but there are three major reasons to buy these glasses. First, their sporting design.
The form of the frame is subjective, but the Oakley Prizm objectives can be very practical for certain sports. For example, Ruby lenses would be practical for sports such as hiking and golf because of the contrast they create.
Then there are disk equipment. The first -person camera is not the best, but I found that these types of specifications are ideal for concerts and when you are on vacation, because you can capture memories without getting out of the moment while living it through a phone screen. Open speakers are also at hand for the soundtrack of your activities while keeping you.
Finally, you have the advantages of Meta Ai. The glass version of the assistant was a super practical tourist and teacher guide for me. I used it to find out more about the destinations that I visited in Italy – like the Pompeii structures – and this can quickly translate signs with a good amount of precision.
However, there is a great reason why I am not in a hurry to grasp a pair: my intelligent Ray-Ban glasses.
These glasses are not as sporting, and they do not praise the improved specifications of Oakleys either, but they are honestly good for my needs – and could be excellent choices for you if you want something a little cheaper (the Ray -Bans start at $ 299 / £ 299 / £ 449 at).
However, if you do not yet swing a pair of intelligent specifications, then these Oakley glasses seem to be worth your attention, even if they are a little more expensive. My advice would be to try a few pairs in a store in person to see the ones you like the most.
