The United Arab Emirates (Water) announced a scholarship program to offer higher education opportunities to Balutchistan students.

Students were selected after exams written in various Balutchistan districts. Among the 25 selected students, 5 are women. The scholarship recipients will continue their studies in some of the best water educational establishments.

The objective of this scholarship is to provide young people from Pakistan, in particular Balutchistan, the possibility of receiving an education worldwide. The scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to the governments of Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, as well as to the Pakistani army, for having provided them with this educational opportunity.

The students mentioned that this scholarship marks an important step in their educational journey, and they plan to take advantage of this opportunity to bring pride to their country and their province.

Earlier, the Sindh government announced scholarships for six deserving students to study at the University of Oxford, marking an important step in the Bunazir Bhutto graduate scholarship.

The announcement occurred after a memorandum of understanding was signed in London, officially facilitating these opportunities.

The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, President of the People’s Party of Pakistan (PPP), which stressed the importance of education and empowerment during the ceremony.

Head Minister Murad Ali Shah revealed that three students and three Sindh students would receive these scholarships each year, in collaboration with Oxford Pakistan.

Previously, Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved the expansion of the Honhaar scholarship program for students from other provinces.
