A WNBA match between Atlanta’s dream and the Golden State Valkyries was interrupted Tuesday evening after a bizarre object was thrown on the ground at the end of the fourth quarter.
The Valkyries had rebounded with about a minute in the match when the object stolen from the stands and down on the field. The object has rebounded a few times from the ball ball and then to the nearby key.

The object seemed to be a lemon green sex toy. The broadcast showed the object on the ground for a brief moment before everyone realizes what it was.
“Inappropriate. Take them out here, anyone,” said one of the dream broadchers.
Officials have not immediately stopped playing once the object is launched. The sequence continued until Golden State returns the ball outside the limits.
A police officer came, picked up the sex toy and took it out of the field.

Golden State, even if the team only scored eight points in the fourth quarter, won the 77-75 match. Cecilia Zandalasini led the Valkyries with 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes of the bench. Tiffany Hayes led the starters with 15 points.
Zandalasini and Hayes talked about the danger of playing through a flying object on the field.
“Once we discovered what it was, I guess we just started to laugh. I have never seen anything like it,” added Zandalasini, via SF Gate.
