More than 19,000 fans filled the United Center to watch the first WNBA game ever recorded at Chicago Bulls Home Arena. While thousands of people gathered to take action in person, many other fans have listened to the game.

On Tuesday, the WNBA announced that the match had fired an average of 1.92 million viewers. These figures reflect the third highest audience for a game transported by CBS. It was also a sharp increase compared to the average hearing of the regular network of the network.

“The Chicago Sky VS Indiana Fever attracted a closed window crowds of 19,496 fans in the first WNBA match to United Center. The arena adapts normally to 21,000, but there was an in progress construction which limited the capacity of today,” the point of sale reported on Saturday.

The defeat against fever dropped the sky record in 2025 to 2-5. By entering Tuesday’s action, only the Connecticut Sun and Dallas Wings are seated under the sky in the WNBA ranking.
The fever and the sky have already met in May. The start of the season match attracted a record of 2.7 million viewers, making it the most seen WNBA regular season in 25 years.
The 93-58 fever victory culminated at 3.1 million viewers.
