Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that Pakistan’s position on the world scene had been considerably raised following his conflict with India in Marka-E-Haq.

Addressing journalists in Lachin, Azerbaijan on Wednesday, Tarar said that Pakistan’s account had been validated internationally, attributing diplomatic success to the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

“The world has completely recognized the position of Pakistan as true,” said Tarar. “Credit goes to PM and DPM, which have considerably improved diplomatic awareness of Pakistan.”

Tarar also targeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him “failed and failing politician” who is “in depth of panic, who only lies to save his shipwreck policy”.

The Minister of Information noted that Pakistan is participating in trilateral talks with Turkiye and Azerbaijan, stressing the importance of strategic partnerships between the three nations. “This dialogue means that the three nations and their leaders are on the same wavelength,” he said.

During a meeting held a day earlier, Prime Minister Sharif and President Azerbaijani Aliyev agreed to exchange delegations to stimulate commercial and investment links. “The president of Azerbaijan has expressed great interest in raising bilateral relations with new heights,” said Tarar.

The minister also underlined the symbolic timing of the visit, Pakistan celebrating Youm-E-Takbeer and Azerbaijan marking his day of the Republic. He expressed his gratitude for the solidarity shown by the Azerbaijani people.

“We thank the people of Azerbaijan for celebrating the victory of Pakistan,” he said. “The Prime Minister, during his meeting with President Aliyev, personally expressed his in -depth gratitude for the support of Azerbaijan during difficult times.”
