Islamabad:
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interconfessional Harmony announced on Monday that more than 114,500 requests had been received so far within the framework of the Government of Hajj 2026, leaving only about 3,500 vacant seats.
Ministry spokesman Muhammad Umar Butt said that the named banks had been invited to continue to receive requests until the remaining quota was completed.
He urged the intention of pilgrims to submit their requests in the closest designated banking branches as soon as possible. “The process will be closed immediately once the last 3,500 seats are taken,” added the spokesperson.
