Asus makes quality consumer electronics, whether laptops, desktops, keyboards, mice or other accessories. And the ROG and TUF gaming brands offer a great balance between high-end gaming performance and affordability.
With a veritable deluge of new products announced at CES 2026, the Asus lineup can seem intimidating. But it’s the four Asus computers that are worth it.
Zenbook Duo
Last year’s Zenbook Duo was hamstrung by poor battery life, but powered by Intel’s new Panther Lake processors (Core Ultra 3 series), this year’s Zenbook Duo might just have real battery life as Intel promises up to 27 hours of video streaming battery life.
Additionally, Panther Lake’s integrated graphics performance is good enough that you can use the Zenbook Duo for heavy video editing without the need for a discrete GPU, saving you weight, thermal performance, and battery life. In fact, the Zenbook Duo 2026 is incredibly lightweight, weighing just 3.64 pounds (1.65 kg) thanks to its ceramic chassis, which is pretty impressive for a laptop with dual OLED displays.
ROG G1000 Desktop
If you’re a fan of Asus ROG’s AniMe Vision, this is the desktop PC you should definitely save up for. It may be an expensive beast, but the ROG G1000 case features Asus’ new AniMe Holo technology on the side panel, bringing full-color hologram technology to your desktop case.
The ROG G1000 is currently designed to handle an AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPU up to the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and an Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card up to the RTX 5090, although Asus has confirmed that the case will be upgraded to handle any new developments on the CPU and GPU front that may arrive later this year.

ROG Zephyrus G14
I love a good 14-inch gaming laptop, and the Zephyrus G14 is now available in both Intel and AMD versions, so there’s something for everyone, assuming you don’t want a bulkier replacement gaming laptop, of course.
In the revamped, sleeker chassis that debuted in 2024, the G14 is still a slim, ultra-portable gaming laptop that’s sure to be an absolute powerhouse, integrating the latest Intel and AMD processors as well as discrete graphics up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080.
Weighing just 3.31 pounds, the Zephyrus G14 is actually lighter than the Zenbook Duo, which is a bit wild for a laptop with a discrete GPU.
TUF Gaming A14
The TUF Gaming A14 is one of the lightest gaming laptops I’ve ever held in my hands, and that’s not even the most impressive thing about the TUF A14. Previous versions of the TUF Gaming A14 had fantastic battery life, lasting up to 10 hours of web browsing. The 2026 model ups the ante with an AMD Strix Halo processor (Ryzen AI Max 300 series) and a 73 Wh battery.
Although the new TUF Gaming A14 doesn’t have a discrete Nvidia graphics card, AMD’s Strix Halo APU offers graphics performance that rivals the RTX 4070 mobile and could well offer better battery life to boot.
