Subscription plans
This initial cost is low enough for a home security camera, but keep in mind that you will also need an Arlo Secure subscription to unlock AI features.
In the United Kingdom, there are three subscription levels: Secure Single Cam, Secure Multi Cam and Early Warning System. The three will store your videos in the cloud, detect people, animals, vehicles and packages, and provide a replacement cam if yours is stolen, but only the upper level will identify specific people and cars and alert fire to you. The early alert system of Arlo Secure costs £ 16.99 per month or £ 169.90 per year,
If you are looking for a safety cam at no additional cost, take a look at my guide for the best home safety cameras without subscription. None of these elements offers the same package of features fueled by AI as the new Arlo cams, but all can store your video clips locally and have no key functionality hidden behind a paid wall.
