These new sneakers have a secret Airtags compartment to follow your child’s location – but they divide opinion between parents

  • Skechers has a new range of sneakers to help parents keep trace of their child
  • The search for skechers shoes has a hidden slit for an aerial apple
  • It allows you to locate your child using Apple finds my application

Many parents want to keep track of the place where their children are, especially if they visit an unknown location, but it is not always an easy thing to do. Now, a new range of skechers sneakers offers a new solution: each pair contains a hidden compartment designed to shelter an Apple Airtag tracker.

This is not the first time that we have seen Airtags hidden in a set of shoes, but the difference here is that the My Skechers search line is designed specifically for children. Each pair is delivered with a small cut in the heel designed to store an Airtag – to access it, you simply lift the insole and the webbed lining below. This reveals a screw-aaerian support that hides the tracker, and Skechers says that your child will not feel it while wearing the shoes.
