- DJI Dock 3 supports deployment mounted on vehicles and double drone rotations
- Supports the obstacle detection lidar, high intensity projectors and real -time audio
- Designed for continuous monitoring and monitoring
DJI introduced its first “drone-in-a-box” system, DJI Dock 3, designed for continuous remote operations under demanding conditions and autonomous drone flights.
It supports an IP56 rating for resistance to dust and water and functions at temperatures of -30 ° C (-22 ° F) at 50 ° C (122 ° F).
DJI, known for drone technology advanced in products such as DJI Flip and DJI Mini 4K, designed the Dock 3 to support the deployment on moving vehicles, unlike Dock 2, which only supports fixed installations.
Long flight time and advanced imaging
The platform system makes it possible to mount two units on a single vehicle, allowing double drone rotations without interruption, while the horizontal and cloud -based location improves precision during operations.
However, for fixed installations, the fixed version of the D-RTK 3 relay improves video transmission and satellite signal stability by reducing interference.
DJI Dock 3 is equipped with 4D and 4TD matrix drones, both classified IP55 for dust and water resistance. These drones offer a flight time forward up to 54 minutes and an overflight time of 47 minutes.
The 4D matrix is optimized for mapping and surface inspections, with a 24 mm wide camera with a 4/3 cm sensor, an adjustable opening of f / 2.8 to f / 11, and a 20MP resolution. It also includes a 70 mm average camera with a CMOS sensor of 1 / 1.3 inch at f / 2.8 and a 48MP resolution, alongside a 168 mm TELE camera with a CMOS sensor of 1 / 1.5 inch at F / 2.8 and 48MP.
The 4TD matrix is designed for emergency interventions, infrastructure inspections and public security missions. It has a 24 mm larger camera with a CMOS sensor of 1 / 1.3 inch to a F / 1.7 and 48MP resolution, as well as the same TV and medium cameras as the 4D matrix.
The 4TD matrix also includes an infrared thermal camera and an almost infrared auxiliary light capable of lighting up to 100 meters, offering increased visibility for black and white night vision.
This configuration is delivered with the DJI RC more 2 corporate controller, which allows the autonomous operation of the drone and the airborne relay – a drone can serve as a relay for another, extending the operating beach even in the obstructed areas without 4G signal.
It is also integrated into Fighthub 2 for automated flight roads, monitoring objects and detection of infrared anomalies. It supports an intelligent change detection function which allows an automated periodic analysis of an area, helping environmental surveillance and a response in the event of a disaster.
Dock 3 supports additional accessories, including an obstacle detection module with Lidar and radar for improved navigation, a cardan tracking projector with 100 meter lighting and a real-time speaker with a 300-meter range and an outlet of 114 dB. It also supports the useful third-party charges via the DJI E-Port and PSDK interface.
Dock 3 ensures data security with OPT-IN sharing, AES-256 encryption and ISO certifications. American users cannot synchronize flight newspapers and data can be deleted on request. The flight termination system (FTS) allows manual or automatic drone stop for C6 compliance.
The price has not been publicly disclosed, but it is available for purchase through authorized DJI dealers.
