Dreame released a sheet from Dyson’s book with its new hair dryer. The pro miracle does not simply explode hot air – oh no. It is filled with technologies and lines intended to deliver luscious and healthy locks. I have to try it in person – and I barely knew where to start.
Functionality is an automatic mode powered by AI which detects how much the dryer is close to your head and adjusts the air flow and the temperature in response. It is designed to protect your hair and scalp – if the dryer is near your head, everything is amplified so as not to explode unnecessarily with heat and air.
The idea makes sense, although during my short practical time, I was not blown away (without puns) by execution. I could really feel that the wind speed has fun up and down – placing my hand near the barrel was still uncomfortably hot. It also took a little time for the dryer to respond to its new orientation.
This feature is surely inspired by the Dyson Supersonic Nural-the last iteration of the Dyson Uber-popular dryer, and one of the best hair dryers at the moment. Running has a very similar characteristic, although this model contains only temperature and not the air flow, and uses sensors rather than AI (I am skeptical about the extent to which AI plays a role in Dream’s dryer, to be perfectly honest, but it is by par). In the test, it seemed that the Nural had responded much faster than the Miracle Pro.
However, the Miracle Pro has several tips that you will not find on the Dyson dryers. Around the dryer’s nozzle is a light ring which offers red light therapy with double wavelength, at 633 and 1064 nanometers.
Therapy by red light is one of the trends in hot skin care at the moment – masks like the cryoglow shark emit red light to help reduce fine lines and fine lines. Here, this will apparently stimulate micro-circulation in the scalp, encouraging more oxygen and nutrients to reach the hair follicles. Over time, it should support greater hair growth and help hair feel more resilient.
In addition to that, this dryer also has an integrated gentleman. A tiny capsule slips into a space at the top of the dryer and spray a petrol on your hair while you dry. This essence is water -based and designed to nourish your hair, protect it from heat and make it feel good. The capsule is removable and rechargeable.
It may have been my favorite functionality to the test. Of course, spraying your hair with a heat protector before drying it is an easy alternative, but it seems much more luxurious. There is apparently a perfume, but it is not overwhelming – I could not feel it while holding the dryer.
The form is this rationalized look which was popularized by the original Dyson Supersonic but which has since become current. The Miracle Pro is a little more distant than the supersonic nral, but always compact and is light enough to be comfortable to handle, despite the volume of technology. It also stands out from the peloton with the same falsehood finish that the brand used in its Dream Airstyle Pro. Like this muti-syler, it also comes in a very intelligent storage case.
Regarding the price, it is an investment, at $ 399.99 / £ 349. However, it is not as expensive as the supersonic nral ($ 499.99 / £ 399.99 $ 749 at the cost of the list), and probably justifies its price with all these features.
It is already on sale directly from Dreame US, and I currently confirm the date of the United Kingdom on sale, as well as prices and availability in Australia. I could not test everything properly during my 10 minutes of practical time in the Dreame showroom, but I have a complete criticism in preparation, in search of our official verdict.
