Sandfall Interactive confirmed that Clear obscure: shipping 33 is the first game of a new franchise.
Speaking with the YouTube channel Mrmattyplays (via Thegamer), the director of the game Guillaume Broche revealed that Expedition 33 is “not the end” of the series.
“”Clear is the name of the franchise, “said brooch.”Shipping 33 is one of the stories we want to tell in this franchise. Exactly what it will look like and what the concept will still be too early to announce, but what is certain is that it is not the end of Clear franchise.”
Pin could not reveal more details, but managed to hear later in the interview he tends to forget his previous work when he “writes from the consequences”, suggesting that the next studio game will not be a direct sequel.
Elsewhere in the discussion, brooch was questioned about the possibility of Clear Receive any post-launching downloadable content (DLC). Although the director of the game did not say squarely “yes”, he teased Sandfall’s plans, saying “there can be”, and it is “a little too early to say”.
“We can cook,” he added (thank you, PC player).
Sandfall previously said that he “explored a wide range of future improvements”, including accessibility features, “new content” and “all kinds of bit”.
Last month, the studio published an update that added a functionality to try again.
