- Keyview 13 “Touch is a mechanical keyboard with a 13 -inch integrated touch screen
- It works with phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers and even game consoles
- Unfortunately, there is no battery or touchpad, so you will have to provide energy and a mouse
The KeyView 13 “Touch, from screens Aura, is a compact mechanical keyboard with 82 keys (83 keys for the British version) with a fun and useful key – it has a 13 -inch integrated touch screen.
This is not the first product of the genre that we have seen – we have already covered the Maxfree K3 and the mechanical thanks keyboard with a 10 -inch monitor, which both offer the same keyboard and display mixture in a single unit.
We also met various DIY projects that produced laptops without screens, as well as laptop home stations with integrated screens, but few of them were as polite or wrapped as that.
RGB lighting and personalized shortcuts
The KeyView 13 “touch screen folds up from 0 to 90 degrees and offers an IPS matte 1920 x 720 display. It supports the complete multitouch of 10 points and has a wide viewing angle of 178 °, which makes it usable for video, documents or simply as a second screen.
The keyboard itself uses yellow mechanical switches and PBT keys. It is fully customizable, with hot keys, RGB lighting and personalized shortcut support.
The device includes USB-C, HDMI, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD / TF location and an SSD M2 bay for internal storage expansion. It also supports the fast load of 60 W PD.
It is compatible with MacOS, Windows, Android, Linux and Chromeos. This means that it works with laptops, desktop computers, complete USB-C phones such as the Galaxy line, the latest iphones, tablets and even game consoles.
The case is made of aluminum, ABS and plastic PC alloy. It is solid but weighs 2,12 kg, which makes it more an element of backpack than something of Pochable.
There is also an integrated speaker, evaluated at 1 W. It is nothing special, but it will be good for notifications or fast audio tasks.
However, there are a few more important drawbacks – there is no battery to start, so you will have to connect it every time you want to use it. And there is not a touchpad either, so unless your device is compatible, you will also want to bring a mouse.
However, for a certain type of user, in particular those who wish to transform their phone into a capable workstation, it is an unusual and potentially useful option. You can buy it directly from aura for $ 399.00, 20% reduction on its usual PDSF of $ 499.
