In recent years, artificial intelligence has quickly progressed in understanding human language and behavior, but the challenge of really grasping human emotions remains a border.
However, Neurologyca says that its new AI system can “understand” human emotions, stress and anxiety sensible and adapt accordingly.
Kopernica incorporates several sensory entrances and, unlike traditional AI which is mainly based on text or speech, uses a combination of computer vision, natural language processing and personality modeling.
Multimodal detection
The system monitors more than 790 reference points on the human body, seven times more than comparable market solutions.
Using 3D model recognition, it can record a subtle body language and facial expressions.
In order to find emotional clues that go beyond words, it also examines the vocal tone and rhythmic models.
In addition, Kopernica continuously learns emotional trends and an individual’s interaction preferences.
This allows the system to personalize and be more empathetic in commitment over time.
Such a multimodal signal fusion is presented as the first technology to combine visual, hearing and psychological signals to deduce complex states such as motivation, cognitive load, stress and attention.

The promise of an emotionally intelligent AI is attractive, but the enormous question remains: can AI really understand human emotions in a significant sense?
Human capacity is very complex. It is shaped by history, context, individual shades and cultural dimensions that even the most advanced AI system will neglect.
It goes beyond the simple detection of anxiety or stress markers of micro-expression and vocal models. The interpretation of what caused these expressions and the appropriate response is a problem that most likely requires human judgment.
There is also the question of privacy. Neurologyca claims that Kopernica performs real -time processing locally on the devices, the anonymization of the data and the guarantee that no identifiable information is stored or shared without explicit consent.
However, any system that claims to systematically monitor human physiological and psychological signals, especially in public circles, will always have confidentiality problems to be solved.
