- Lenco unveils a high-end hub and stereo speakers at Ifa
- Refreshingly, “high -end” for Lenco now means “more than $ 500 /500 £”
- IFA is a huge technological business exhibition from Friday, September 5 – Mar, September 9, 2025
The IFA press release from Lenco said: “LBT-515 and SPB-240BKGY create a bold new step for the brand” and on this occasion, I could not agree with the marketing strategy of the platinum specialist.
The LBT -515 is a new direct disc player – Yes, the record player, sitting enough at the top of the IFA showcase in Lenco (IFA is a famous technological living room in Berlin, but do not worry if you did not know) and it is equipped with an Ortofon 2M driving engine at the same time 33 and 45 RPM.
The LBT-515 also offers an adjustable step control, an anti-skating, a mechanical lifting of the arms, gold-plated connectors, a switchable preamp and an integrated RIAA equalizer to integrate the simple system.
And that’s not all! Bluetooth 5.3 with volume control means that you can play your vinyl on headphones or wireless speakers nearby, making it a very flexible choice (and could I say a beautiful, if you like the slightly retro atmosphere).
The LNCO LBT-515 will be available from November, at a price of £ 579.99 / € 599.99, which will bring about $ 785 or $ 1,195 to, give or take a few dollars. Not what I’m used to in Lenco – and in fact, I don’t mind at all.
Lenco did not take our turn of the best decks that you could buy, but we really liked the recent LBT-21BK of $ 359 of the company during a listening session earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if this deck – and this new price range – is a success for the company where its budgetary offers have not completely dropped.
Need a set of Bluetooth compatible stereo speakers (but also much more versatile) to support your deck? Meet the Lenco SPB-240BGY library speakers! With a total RMS 80W (2 x 40W) output, an integrated class class amplifier and a digital signal treatment (DSP) and Bluetooth 5.3, you can broadcast from your phone, tablet or laptop – but RCA, optics, USB and the subwoofer out should facilitate the integration of televisions, consoles or any new spout. A remote control and RCA cable are included and you can buy them from November, price £ 149.99 / € 169.99 (therefore around $ 203 or $ 310 in).
Lenco was occupied before IFA
Lenco launched three plates at CES at the start of the year, and the company clearly sticks to this “Three has a charm” strategy for IFA 2025.
By switching to the second of the trio, what happens if you hope a purchase without hassle and would prefer your separations in vinyl already paired and in the box? The LS-700BK is designed for you. Lenco tells us that “this complete system combines a first place platinum with a 200W speaker configuration (2 x 100W RMS) for the audio filling rooms as soon as the box is released”, and at the base is the Red Ortofon 2M cartridge rather considered.
The LS-700BK includes an integrated stereo amplifier, a Bluetooth 5.2, a digital speed screen, automatic speed adjustment and anti-pairing. Two hand-made wooden speakers and a complete brushed aluminum box then design. It was released in October for the princely sum of £ 699.99 / € 749.99 (around $ 949 or $ 1,445 in).
Last high, the space saving solution. If you want an all-in-one experience, the LS-60BK has “a vintage character in a compact and accessible design”. Under the wooden MDF cabinet, you get integrated stereo speakers, and the deck itself plays recordings of 33, 45 and 78 rpm via a band driving system. An Audio-Technica AT-3600 mmc cartridge of the cartridge reading quality.
Another advantage here is double -meaning Bluetooth, which means that you can broadcast the vinyl on your wireless deck on your earphones or speakers Bluetooth, but you can also play music directly from your phone or other source device via 2 x 5w loudspeakers integrated from the plate. RCA outputs mean that expansion for larger configurations is also possible and I think LS-60BK could make the vinyl simple enough for new users to become hung. The Lenco LS-60BK is outside September, at the price of £ 149.99 / € 169.99 – which is much more tested for Lenco.
How do they sound? In our opinion, we are in Berlin at IFA and we are working to give at least one of them, very soon.
