- Compal Infinite Ordaye offers a horizontally expansion screen, from 14 inch to 18 inch
- Rolled trade laptops could emerge as the future of multitasking
- The infinite laptop also includes LED notification grids
The first rolling laptop in the world, the Thinkbook Lenovo Plus Gen 6 Rollable, was revealed at CES 2025 after years of development, with a 14 -inch screen which extends vertically to 16.7 inches with the press on a button.
While Lenovo’s approach focuses on the increase in vertical space, the concept of infinite laptop from the Taiwanese manufacturer (via Ifdesign) extends horizontally to create an ultrawid commercial laptop.
The Infinite Compaal laptop has a 14 -inch screen that extends on both sides to form an 18 -inch screen, which could make it an ideal laptop for trading and multitasking.
A roller screen designed for productivity
Compal’s infinite laptop is always a concept, but its bold design has already won an IF design award.
This rouble mechanism ensures a transparent transition between compact and extended modes while maintaining a light construction.
Similar to the clinkcaim laptop, another design concept concept in 2025, the infinite laptop does not have a distinct touchpad.
Instead, a weakly shiny light indicates the area of the touchpad, which could make it a more intuitive laptop for programming.
The laptop seems to have a LED notification table integrated into its cover for alerts and notifications of the system.
The laptop expansion mechanism seems impressive, and it has certainly made waves – the 2025 if design prices included nearly 11,000 admissions from 66 countries, with 131 jurors selecting the most innovative conceptions, solidifying the place of the Infinite Compal.
