- Spitz Plus GL-X2000 provides double SIM, OpenVPN, Wireguard and Ethernet at high speed connectivity
- There are also advanced networking features such as QOS, encrypted DNS and routing based on strategies
- External SMA connectors and four antennas improve the signal reception
GL.INET has introduced the Spitz plus GL-X2000, a portable cellular router Wi-Fi 6 powered by the dual-core 1 GHz Qualcomm IPQ5018.
GL.INET says that the new offer supports the bandwidth link, a functionality that merges the data speeds of two SIM cards in a single faster Hotspot connection.
It also supports 4G LTE CAT.12 with aggregation to 3 carriers, reducing the congestion of the network and improving data flow. This allows download speeds up to 600 Mbps and download speeds up to 150 Mbps between global frequency bands.
Double sim and bandwidth link for stable connections
In addition to two SIM locations and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, the GL-X2000 offers the possibility of installing a physical ESIM, allowing to store up to eight profiles for the transparent switching of the carriers.
Like the D-Link G530 5G NR AX3000 router, it supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), offering speeds up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz.
For wired networking, it includes a Wan Gigabit port and a LAN Gigabit port, providing high -speed data transfer and low latency connections.
Equipped with four large branches – two for LTE and two for Wi -Fi – the GL -X2000 is designed for a reception and stability of the strong signal. The external SMA connectors allow users to exchange antennas for better coverage, which makes them well suited to mobile configurations, rural areas or locations with low cell signals.
Performing a personalized version of OpenWRT 19.07, the router supports routing, the access point, the wireless bridge and the wired bridge modes. Features such as QOS management, encrypted DNS and routing based on policies offer greater control over network traffic.
For those looking for a secure router, users benefit from a preinstalled VPN support for more than 30 suppliers, with openvpn speeds up to 30 Mbps and Wire Guélectricity up to 190 Mbps.
Remote management options allow users to monitor data use, update firmware and configure anywhere settings.
The GL-X2000 maintains relatively low energy consumption, operating less than 14 W with a 12V / 2.5A input, which makes it compatible with portable batteries.
Weighing 443 grams and measuring 141 x 86 x 36 mm, it remains compact while offering full -size networking features.
The GL-X2000 is currently available with a limited discount of 23%, for $ 185.90 in North America and $ 175.90 in the EU, the United Kingdom and Australia. Without the discount, the device costs $ 239.90 and $ 229.90 respectively.
