Islamabad:
Commodore Muhammad Shahnawaz Khan, Commodore Asim Sohail Malik and Commodore Sohail Ahmad Azmie from the Pakistani navy were promoted to the rank of counter-admiral.
According to a press release from the Directorate of General Public Relations (Pak Navy), the Counter-Admiral Muhammad Shahnawaz Khan was put into service in the Pakistani navy branch in 1993. The flag officer graduated from Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore and the National Defense University, Islamabad.
Rear Admiral Asim Sohail Malik was put into service in the Pakistani naval branch in 1995. The flag officer graduated from Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore and National Defense University, Islamabad. He also followed the command and staff of the Bangladesh Defense Services, Defense Studies and Masters in Research and Operational Analysis from China.
Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie was put into service in the Pakistani naval branch in 1996.
