Three highway police officials injured in the Irepard in the Balutchistan explosion in Nasirabad

Three road police officials were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded near their vehicle in the Balutchistan Nasirabad district on Monday.

The explosion occurred when an IED, which would have been planted by unidentified individuals, exploded near the patrol unit, partially damaging the vehicle.

The injured police were immediately transferred to the hospital in the Nasirabad district headquarters, where hospital authorities have implemented emergency protocols to provide timely medical care.

After the incident, the police completed the area and launched a research operation to find the authors. A detailed investigation is underway.

Balutchistan has witnessed an increase in terrorist activities in recent days. However, the Pakistani army has annoyed numerous attacks and terrorist neutralized supported by India in intelligence operations.

Last week, a 16-year-old boy lost his life and seven other people were injured in a terrorist attack in the Mastung district, while two Indian proxy attackers were shot down during a counter-operation by the security forces.

Balutchistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said that armed men have targeted the main government facilities, including the Tehsil office, a local bank and other administrative buildings. They opened a blind fire, killing a teenager on the spot and leaving at least seven other injured.

Police said the attackers entered the city in the morning and put the government offices and two fire banks. Frontier Corps (FC) security personnel, Terrorism Department (CTD) and Right Levies responded quickly and engaged the attackers in a counter-terrorist operation.

Earlier in June, the security forces killed two terrorists supported by the Indians and arrested two others during an intelligence -based operation in the Duki district of Balutchistan.

The operation was launched on reports on the presence of members of Fitna Al Hindustan, described by the military as a group of Indian proxies operating in the region.

“The security forces have effectively initiated the location of the terrorists sponsored by India,” said inter-service public relations (ISPR) in a statement. “After an intense fire exchange, two terrorists sponsored by India were sent to hell, while two were apprehended.”
