Three killed, 21 injured in the double road of Quetta

Quetta: A powerful explosion struck the double road of Quetta, killing at least three people and injuring 21 others, including security personnel, traders and passers -by.

The explosion targeted a routine patrol police van, seriously injuring the police inside the vehicle.

According to the police surgeon, Dr. Ayesha Faiz, three people lost their lives in the attack, while several injured people remain in critical condition. Dr. Abdul Hadi, the medical superintendent (MS) of Sandeman Hospital, confirmed that four victims were in critical condition.

Meanwhile, Dr. Arbab Kamran, director general of the trauma center, said that emergency medical aid was provided to all injured.

Following the explosion, the authorities declared an emergency at Sandeman hospital, convening all doctors and medical staff on an urgent basis. The area was completed and the security forces launched an investigation into the attack.

Balutchistan has witnessed the increase in terrorist attacks in recent months, the security forces are frequently targeted.
