According to a press release, the cases were detected in a 15-month-old girl from UC Takhtikhel in the Lakki Marwat district, a six-month-old girl from UC Mir Ali-3 in northern Waziristan, and a 60-month-old boy from UC Chajro in the Umerkot district, Sindh.

Meanwhile, a special vaccination campaign is currently underway from July 21 to 27 in the neighboring Union councils, synchronized with the Afghanistan infranational polio campaign.
“In addition, an IPV-OPV fractional campaign began in the Chaman district on July 21 and will take place in the other Balutchistan districts from July 28, according to the press release.
