Three young men were kidnapped and killed by unknown activists for spying allegations in the Tirah valley region of the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The victims, identified as Ibrahim, son of Masoor, Samad, son of Piyo Khan, and son of Sher Ghulam, were members of the Malik Din Khel tribe.
Sources indicate that the three men were removed by unidentified armed individuals on Thursday.
Their bodies were discovered early Friday morning in an open field, bearing injuries by execution style.
The members of the local community found the leftovers and transferred them to the victims’ homes.
After the killings, panic spread in the region while the public called on the government and the security forces to take immediate measures and restore peace in the region.
Earlier, the security forces killed 22 activists and injured 18 others in intelligence operations (IBOS) in the Tirah Valley in the last month, according to a press release from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations were carried out in response to a series of terrorist incidents targeting civilians and security staff in the region.

The ISPR has highlighted the continuous nature of these missions, declaring that they aim to restore peace and eliminate militant threats in the region.
“In response to these odious acts, the security forces carry out vast intelligence -based operations (IBO) in the region against the Khawrij,” the statement said.
The measures to combat terrorism, described as extended and focused on intelligence, underline the determination of the military to stabilize the affected areas.
