The security forces killed three activists affiliated with the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), which the officials described as a proxy group sponsored by the Indians, during two separate operations in the province of Baloutchistan, the military’s media wing said in a statement.
According to inter-service public relations (ISPR), the first intelligence operation was launched in the Gishkur region in the Awaran district, following the presence of Indian back terrorists.
“During the conduct of the operation, his own troops actually hired the location of the terrorists and after an intense fire exchange, the Indian terrorist Younas was killed, while two terrorists sponsored by the Indians were injured,” the statement said.
In a separate commitment to Turbat City, in the Kech district, the security forces neutralized two other activists, identified as the commander of the BLF Sabrullah and the operator Amjad BICHOO.
The two were described by the authorities as actively involved in attacks against law enforcement agencies and targeted civilians, said ISPR, adding that weapons, ammunition and explosives have been recovered on the scene.
Security officials said disinfection operations were taking place in the region to ensure that no remaining militant elements were present. “Pakistan’s security forces, in line with the nation, remain determined to thwart the attempts of Indian proxies to sabotage the peace, stability and the progress of Balutchistan,” added the press release.
