Three trans-person people were slaughtered

The bodies of three transgender people were recovered on Sunday, bushes in an isolated area near the Nagori Cooperative Housing Society, next to the M-9 motorway from Superhighway. The identity of the victims was then confirmed by correspondence of fingerprints.

During the notification of the conclusion, the police of Memon Goth, the leaders of the Rangers and the rescue teams reached the premises. Police completed the region and began research operation, while the crime scene unit (CSU) was called to collect evidence.

After inspected the crime scene, SSP Malir, Abdul Khaliq Pirzada, told the media representatives that the three people had been shot. It seems that everyone was shot down once, with two of them pulled in the chest and one in the head. In addition, the SSP has reported that the scene suggests that the victims were killed in the same place, because two bullet sockets were found nearby. Two bodies were found together, while the third was found a few meters away, suggesting that the third victim may have tried to escape. In addition, the SSP revealed that the state of the bodies suggests that they have only stayed there for a few hours, however, the exact time of the death must be confirmed by the medical judicial leader (MLO).

The police recovered two 9 mm bullet links, a torch, a roll of fabric and other articles on the scene. The recovered envelopes must be paired to determine whether a single weapon or more weapons has been used in the attack. SSP Pirzada revealed that no video surveillance camera was located nearby, but said that the surrounding cameras are being examined for possible images. He also noted that there are indications that the victims have frequently visited the location, with recovered elements, used, supporting this theory.

The SSP reported that no article was found on the bodies that could help identify the victims, and no mobile phone was recovered either. However, Sho Memon Goth, Javed Abro, revealed the identity of the deceased, confirmed by correspondence of fingerprints. The victims were identified as Alex Riyasat, 20, alias Aini, son of Riyasat Masih, from Sheikhupura, Muhammad Jeel, 28, alias Sameraa, son of Muhammad Murad, from Khairpur, and an unidentified character known by the alias Asma.

Declaration of interactive gender alliance problems

The Interactive Gender Alliance (GIA), an organization of transgender rights, published a statement noting that the three murdered people, Asma, Sameera and Aini, were residents of the areas around Bilawal Goth and Safora Town. Their means of subsistence begged, and they had left their homes to began alms and earn a living, but never returned.

The GIA said that these repeated incidents of violence against the transgender community are evidence that the community is systematically targeted. In this regard, the Alliance said: “It is not only a question of the murder of some individuals, it is an attempt to intimidate and to silence the whole community”.

The Alliance called on the Sindh government and the police to conduct a transparent investigation helping the rapid arrest of all those involved in the murders. The GIA has also required that a special protection unit be established for the safety of transgender persons, calling for strict legislation and application to prevent hate crimes and violence against the community.

Protest of the stages of the Trans Community

In response to the triple murder, the Transgender community organized a demonstration outside Jinnah hospital. The demonstration was led by the leader of transgender rights Bindiya Rana, who firmly condemned the incident, announced a press conference and demonstrations across the province. Distant “These events have created immense fear among the community,” asked Bindiya “should we stop leaving our homes completely?”

CM Orders investigation

Sindh -chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also took note of murders and sent orders to the IG police to immediately arrest the killers. Murad said the killers should be stopped at all costs and ordering a report to him. The CM said: “Transgender is an oppressed section of the company” and said that the State would not tolerate the murder of an oppressed and innocent citizen.
