- Thrustmaster announced the Sol-R range of flight sticks

Thrustmaster, a manufacturer of play equipment specializing in flight sticks, racing wheels and all kinds of gender controllers, has just announced a set of sticks designed for space flight simulation titles like Dangerous elite.
The Thrustmaster Sol-R 1 Flightstick and the Sol-R 2 Hosas Space Sim Duo should be released on April 16, 2025 and pre-orders are available now via the brand’s website. The soil-R 1 costs $ 219.99 / £ 159.99. Meanwhile, the soil-R 2 Hosas is a more robust set, containing two flight stick modules for $ 399.99 / £ 299.99.
The Sol-R range is made up of a flight stick and a base for which to train it. The base includes two dials on each side, as well as a set of buttons and switches which collectively allow a total of 44 programmable actions.
The stick looks incredibly ergonomic, with a hand rest and a handful of thumb. At the top, you will find two four -track hats switches, a small thumb, two buttons and a dial steering wheel. There is also a pair of triggers on the underside, probably used to explode space bandits in next week. The rest of the ergonomic hand can also exchange the sides, which makes the soil-R accessible to people on the right and on the left.
Above all, Sol-R uses the Bustmaster Bustpoke Hall Effect technology, which is nowadays a must to provide sustainable controllers that do not succumb to the dreaded drift of the sticks.
Finally, for those who like to add a little flair to their spatial sim sessions, the Sol-R base and the stick have 11 customizable RGB lighting zones combined. This will allow you to modify the lighting color of certain buttons for easy visibility. Or alternately, you can unleash with a multicolored configuration for additional style points.
Will the Sol-R Thrustmaster range end on our list of the best PC controllers? This remains to be seen. But at a glance, it looks like a high quality package which is well suited to beginners and passionate of space sim.
