Tiger Woods remains one of the most recognizable athletes in sport. And the life of the winner of the major championship 15 times could soon be told about the film.
Amazon MGM Studios has obtained the rights to “The Tiger Slam: The Inside Story of the Greatest Golf never played” of Kevin Cook “, a spokesman for the studio for people confirmed.
Amazon’s film will be based on the book that hit the shelves in December. Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are “in talks” to join the project through their business, Higher Ground Productions, according to Deadline.

Reinaldo Marcus Green, whose film credits include “King Richard”, also arouses the interest of the project on Woods. Green is considered to make the film, according to the report.
The actor Will Smith won an Oscars for his representation of Richard Williams, the father and former coach of the great tennis Serena and Venus Williams in “King Richard”. The Williams sisters have been listed as executive producers of the film.

A calendar for the documentary version has not been made available.
Woods had prepared for the Masters tournament next month. But it is unlikely to participate in Augusta National after Woods announced on Tuesday that it had been operated on to contact an Achilles Rumped tendon.
“I’m back home now and I plan to focus on my recovery and rehabilitation, thank you for all the support,” wrote the five -time winner of the Masters on X.
In February, Woods announced that his mother, Kutilda Woods, died at the age of 81.

“It is with sincere sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, died early this morning,” wrote Woods. “My mother was a force of nature that is clean to her, her mind was simply undeniable. She was fast with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, bigger supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible. She was loved by so many people, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie.”
Obama and Tiger Woods have a story. Obama went to Florida to play a golf game with woods during his presidency. Woods visited the White House during a celebration of the American and international golf teams of the presidents in June 2014.
The former president and former production company of the First Lady has put many projects on the screen since its launch in 2018, including the documentaryies “Our Oceans and Court of Gold” and “Rustin”.

The Obamas company has also joined the uninterrupted LeBron James and Omaha Productions in Peyton Manning to produce “Start 5”. Last year, The Docuseries was published on Netflix and followed James, Anthony Edwards and other NBA stars on and off the field.
