Tiktok’s reputation lands a false CTD officer in prison

The police arrested a man who usurped the identity of an inspector of the Department of Terrorism (CTD) who used false equipment, a black car and social media videos to project a false image of authority and intimidate the public.

According to police from Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), the arrest took place near Khanna Bridge on the Islamabad motorway during the routine patrol by the ASI traffic police Ramzan.

The suspect, leading to the registration of BF-2421 vehicles, claimed to be a CTD officer and threatened the police with serious consequences, a police spokesman said on Sunday.

Lohi Bher police, led by Sho Fawad Khalid, recorded a case under articles 170 and 171 of the Pakistan Criminal Code, as well as additional provisions for the identity and improper use of emergency equipment.
