Timothee Chalamet opened up about his first collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow.
After his upcoming comedy-drama film Marty Supreme premiered at the New York Film Festival, the 29-year-old French-American actor gave an interview to The Hollywood Reporter.
For those who don’t know, in Marty SupremeChalamet stars as Marty Mauser, an aspiring competitive table tennis player, while Paltrow, who has yet to return to the big screen since 2019, will play Kay Stone, an actress who is romantically involved with the title character.
Singing the praises of the 53-year-old American actress and businesswoman, the Dune The star said: “She was amazing.”
Chalamet went on to state that this wasn’t the first time he felt good working with a senior, like his experience with Christian Bale in the 2017 film. Hostiles was also remarkable.
“When I work with these people whose work I grew up with, who are masters, that’s what you would feel if you were in drama class on 48th Street, and you were doing an exercise, and you literally said, ‘Wow, I’m working with an incredible artist,'” said the Wonka » remarked the actor.
Notably, Chalamet and Paltrow were photographed kissing while filming the upcoming film in New York in 2024 and their roles attracted widespread attention.
It is relevant to mention that Marty Supreme will be released on December 25, 2025.
