But the man who was nicknamed “Tommy Crostlets” does not go to New England without some of her favorite things from her house, especially her mother’s Italian cuisine.

“There will be frozen chops filling the freezer, she will make sure that he has all his homemade sauces and all these other good things,” said Devito agent Sean Stellato, Skyler Caruso de People.

Stellato reacted to his client was canceled, while the Giants kept the Russell Wilson quarters, their starter of week 1, Jameis Winston and the choice of first round Jaxson Dart.

The Patriots claim that favorite fans Tommy Devito have exemptions

“Tommy being a competitor so fierce and obviously loving his hometown team, I mean that it was definitively disappointing,” he said. “He obviously loved the opportunity to play for his favorite team.”

But, as Stellato knows, the company of the NFL does not always make sure that a player remains with a single team, even if it is the Devito team has grown root.

“He is ready to make the transition,” said Stellato. “He is impatiently awaiting the opportunity and challenges to be now a member of the New England Patriots.”

The Patriots already have a quarter of franchise under the new head coach Mike Trinel, while Drake Maye should take a jump in his second season after a solid base was built in his rooted campaign despite the team’s 4-13 record in 2024.

Behind Maye is Joshua Dobbs, the quarter-back companion who has his own nickname like Devito. “Passronaut” was the nickname given to the Tennessee product which studied aerospace engineering in college.

Dobbs should be the safeguard of Maye throughout the season, but as Devito knows too well, circumstances like injuries could have his number canceled at some point.

DEVITO’s fame in New York occurred in 2023 when he started six games after Daniel Jones was lost for the season after a ACL tear. He went 3-3 during this period, completing 64% of his passes for 1,101 yards with eight affected and three interceptions.

Devito was also called last season after the Giants left Jones from mid-season, but he did not succeed in his two departures before Drew Lock took over. Although it has finished 70% of its passes, Devito launched for only 257 yards without affected.

However, Devito shone in the time he played this pre-season in a overcrowded quarter room. With Dart being a choice of first round and shining in its own right, it was always going to be a question on Winston or Devito if the giants wanted to transport three quarters.

Devito made a difficult decision after taking 30 out of 38 this pre-season for 323 yards with four Touché passes and an interception.

The giants ended up moving on, and the patriots were quick to tear it away and put it on the active list to start the season.
