Senator Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., Targeted the governor of Maine Janet Mills for having refused to ban trans athletes in sports for girls on Wednesday.
During an interview on “Do’t @ Me with Dan Dakich d’Outkick”, Tuberville put strong criticisms on Mills after a week of national controversy for his quarrel with President Donald Trump for his executive order “No Men in Women’s Sports”, and the refusal of his state to comply.
“With this Governor of Maine, being just an A total to be honest with you with the President of the United States, when he has already said:` It will not happen ”, and she said: “Well, I will take you to court”, and he said: “Well, I will see you in court, because I run the federal government”, said Tuberville.
“It shows you how selfish these people are, and it’s just common sense that you don’t do that.”

Maine has been the subject of a national exam for having enabled trans athletes in the sports of girls in the midst of the state’s refusal to comply with Trump’s order and a recent incident involving a vaulter with a trans pole.
The spit between Trump and Mills started last Thursday when Trump promised to reduce the funding of the state for refusing to follow his order during a gathering of governors in Washington.
On Friday, the Mills’ office responded with a statement threatening legal action against the Trump administration if it retains federal state funding. Then Trump and Mills verbally overwhelmed in a largely published argument at the White House during a bipartite meeting of governors.
“Aren’t you respected that?” Trump Mills asked.
“I comply with state and federal laws,” she replied, before Trump said “well, we are federal law” and “you would better do so, you better do it because you will not get any federal funding if you do not. And by the way, your population, even if it is a little liberal, even if I have not done very well.”

“We will see you in court,” replied Mills.
Only a few hours after this interaction, the United States Ministry of Education has announced that it would be investigate To allow Trans athletes to participate in sports and potential violations of title IX. Maine is the fourth state to have been launched an investigation into title IX for challenging Trump’s order since its signature on February 5.
California, Minnesota and Massachusetts face similar investigations, while several other states managed by Democrats have also refused to comply with Trump’s order so far.
Meanwhile, Tuberville Coparbeille also a bill with ramifications similar to Trump’s order at the US Congress. The law on the protection of women and girls in sport is already adopted in the House of Representatives, but has not yet received a vote in the Senate.
Tuberville hopes that the country will be able to tackle the question of transplant in time for the 2028 Olympic Games.
“What worries me is that the Olympic Games come here to our country in Los Angeles in a few years and we don’t need this to make it a nightmare, it must be men against men, women against women,” said Tuberville. “But you know what, this radical left will try to do this as if it was a disaster that boys in transition are unable to participate against women. It makes no sense, and under this president, it will not happen.”
When Trump signed the decree on February 5, he swore that the Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem Prohibit any transgender athlete who would try to compete as women to enter the country for the Olympic Games in 2028.
