Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Ignites Trump Fury, Divides Viewers
Trump’s criticism of the halftime show became one of the most viral storylines of the entire Super Bowl on Sunday.
“The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst ever! It makes no sense, it is an affront to the greatness of America, and does not represent our standards of achievement, creativity, or excellence. No one understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially to young children watching from across the United States and around the world,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our country, which sets new standards and records every day – including the best stock market and 401(k) in history! There is nothing inspiring about this mess of a show and halftime show, it will get great reviews from the fake media because they have no idea what is going on in the REAL WORLD – And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace their ridiculous new kickoff rule MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Prominent conservative influencers were among the show’s harshest critics, even the deputy attorney general for civil rights at the U.S. Department of Justice. Harmeet Dhillon intervened.

“Look, Bad Bunny is, and I think it was demonstrated last night, one of the greatest artists in the world and that’s one of the reasons we cast him,” Goodell said. “But the other reason is he understood the platform that he was on and that platform is used to unite people and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that and I think artists of the past have done that.
“I think Bad Bunny understands that and I think he’ll put in a great performance.”
