While experts struggle if the prospect of the NFL Draft Travis Hunter should be deployed as an offensive or defensive player full -time, the former star of Colorado considers himself a double -meaning player.
“Made some meetings at the receiver. Has gone to the DB. So, still in the air,” answered Hunter to the questions to NFL scouting combines on playing important clichés in attack and defense among the pros.

Hunter played the wide receiver and the cornerback at Jackson State and Colorado under the head coach Deion Sanders. Although Hunter should be a draft choice in the top 10, it is not clear if the team who selects him will mainly see him as a one -way player.

Hunter excelled on both sides of the ball in the ranks of the college, playing more than 700 snaps in attack and defense. He was appointed winner of the Heisman 2024 trophy in December.

He finished last season with a career summit of 1,258 reception yards and was credited with four interceptions as a defensive back. These figures contributed to Hunter who won the honors of the defensive player of the year Big 12. He was also a recipient of the Fred Biletnikoff Prize as the best university football receiver of the season.
Hunter did not participate in exercises in the combination of this week, but he confirmed that he had interviewed the teams.

Double sense players of the NFL were a rarity. Chuck Bednarik was the last full -time bidirectional athlete in the league. Bednarik was an assistant and an offensive line player for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1949 to 1962.
Sammy Baugh and Don Hutson are also notable old double -sense stars. Baugh was a quarter, the defensive back and the bettor. Huston has spent his entire career in the NFL with Green Bay packers, playing the receiver and security. Later, he had a passage as an assistant packers.
The NFL draft is scheduled from April 24 to 26 in Green Bay.
