Islamabad:
The PMD warned against the strong snowfall which can cause road closings and slippery conditions in the hilly areas of the night from February 19 on the morning of February 21.
The snowfall are expected in Murrier, Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch and Haveli.
The PMD indicated the possibility of landslides and avalanches in the hilly regions of KP, GB, Cashmere, Murrity and Galliyat during this period.
Tourists were advised to stay very careful and avoid unnecessary trips.
