Karachi traffic police finalized the traffic dispositions for Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (PSL) scheduled for Saturday.
Superior police supervisors (SSP) will personally supervise the movement and security of trials in their respective districts, said Karachi traffic police spokesperson.
To guarantee a smooth traffic flow across the city, a detailed diversion and an alternative route plan have been extinguished. Citizens were invited to use alternative routes to avoid drawbacks.
Two major processions will start from Memon Masjid in the afternoon. The first procession will leave at 2:30 p.m. and will end at Aram Bagh Masjid. The second procession will start at 3 p.m. and will end at the Nishtar Park.
Diversions of traffic and alternative routes
For the central district, commuters from Nazimabad can use Lasbela Chowk via Nishtar Road and Garden to reach their destination. Those who come from Liaquatabad can use Teen Hatti, then turn to Lasbela Chowk and go to the central prison (Martin Road).
The circulation of Place Hasan aux Peoples Chowrangi will be diverted via the Chemin du Cashmire, the Society of the Society (Shahrah-E-Quaideen) and the overview of the prison, finally reaching the Hatti adolescent in Nishtar Road (Lasbela).
The traffic police spokesman said that no traffic would be authorized to Guru Mandir in Numaish under any circumstance.
In the East district, vehicles heading from Shahrah-E-Faisal to Nunish via Noorani Kebab must turn to Society Light Signal and use the Cashmere road to continue their destination.
The commuters of the central prison door (Jamshed Road) heading for Guru Mandir and my Jinnah Road will be diverted via Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.
In the southern district, vehicles in the Garden zoological region at my Jinnah Road will be diverted via the Anklesaria hospital, turning either to the right towards Gul Plaza or on the left towards the Coast Guard / Holy Family Hospital.
Lucky Star’s traffic at my Jinnah Road via Empress Market will be released to Saddar Dawakhana to the Chowrangi peoples.
Traffic intends to reach Burns Road will be sent via Abdullah Haroon Road to Mr. Kiyani Chowk. However, no traffic will be authorized to Mr. Kiyani Chowk at the short Road (Kabootar Chowrangi). All these vehicles will be diverted via the Arts Council to Pakistan Chowk.
Likewise, Shahrah-E-Liaquat traffic in Burns Road will be redirected to the light signal from Aram Bagh to Pakistan Chowk.
Restrictions for heavy commercial vehicles
Heavy and commercial vehicles that head for Super Highway or Gulberg at my Jinnah Road will be diverted to Liaquatabad n ° 10 to Nazimabad no 2 Chowrangi, then via Habib Bank Flyover, State avenue Road and Sher Shah in Mauripur. The route must be used for entry and return.
National Highway vehicles intended to enter the city must use Shahrah-E-Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Suleman Road, Hasan Square, Liaquatabad no 10, and follow the same Sher Shah-Mauripur route.
No vehicle, whatever its size, will be allowed to enter Guru Mandir Chowk or the procession route. All these traffic will be diverted to Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.
Access and parking restrictions
Entrance to my Jinnah Road is strictly prohibited for all vehicles, with the exception of those with special windshield stickers issued to participate in processions.
Parking on the procession road is completely prohibited. The traffic police asked citizens to cooperate and use alternative routes designated to reach their destinations without delay.
