Traffic police closes their eyes on minor bikers

Hyderabad:

An increasing number of minor bikers are not seen without fear on the roads, neither the traffic nor the district police taking no measure against them.

These bikers drive motorcycles at high speed day and night in various parts of the city, including Qasimabad and Hala Naka. In addition to the reckless speed, they can also be seen to make various waterfalls, often causing a slippage of their vehicles. Rash Biking also presents risks for other motorcyclists, car drivers and pedestrians.

In Hyderabad, traffic police and staff are deployed for limited periods in the markets and congested areas, exercising their functions with reluctance. In the congested areas of the city, traffic police do not take any measure against these minor bikers, however, at the entrance and exit points of the city, the traffic police officers are considered to be quite vigilant.

During the three days of Eid and Thursday evening, traffic remained heavy on the roads, but no traffic policeman was visible at any place, and the district police did not take action against the speeding bikers. As a result, an increasing number of them were found sneaking their house at night and driving motorcycles at extremely high speeds.

The bikers are so young that they don’t even have identity cards, and they do not have documents necessary for their motorcycles. They take the motorcycles of their family and lead them with their friends, not even knowing a single circulation rule. The inaction of traffic and the district police gave these juveniles the freedom to drive motorcycles on roads with impunity.
