Karachi: Due to the increase in city traffic problems, the Karachi traffic police designed a plan for the heavy crowd on the markets before Eid Ul Fitr.

The traffic plan provides for a ban on the entry of taxis and ripens on various markets which have been in the grip of overcrowding.

As part of the new restrictions, taxis – including childcare holders – and rickshaws were prohibited in Teen Talwar and commuters were advisable to use Clifton Bridge, Race Race and Khaliq Uz Zaman Road.

The entry of taxis and ripens was also prohibited at the expense leading from Tariq Road to the signal of Ittehad.

Likewise, said vehicles will not be allowed between Saddar, Fawara Chowk and GPO and Singer Chowk in Zaibunnisa Street and Jama Cloth in Eidgah Chowk as well as on the Hyderi market.

Traffic police have said that traffic from the millennium will be directed to the NIPA via the Millennium Bridge, while trade traffic will be diverted to ship owners and Landi Kotal Chowrangi of Chowrangi five stars.

Meanwhile, the vehicles of the board of the Board of Directors will be diverted to the KDA Chowrangi, Zia Uddin Chowrangi and Pahar Ganj.
