Martina Navratilova is frank on transgender athletes in female sports for a long time, and earlier this week, she attacked a democratic senator who voted against the bill.
Nevada senator, Catherine Cortez Mastro, was one of the 45 Democrats to vote against the bill, despite President Donald Trump’s decree.
In a statement, Cortez Mastro explained why she voted against the bill, despite “the support[ing] fair play and … no support[ing] Transgender athletes in competition in the sports of girls and women. “”

“I believe that local schools, athlete students, coaches and parents are much better equipped to implement a fair and strong policy on this issue than politicians in the Congress,” she said. “This general legislation would allow anyone to submit girls to invasive physical examinations just because of their appearance. It is an incredible significance of the government and puts young women at increased risky risk of mistreatment and harassment – something that I spent my career against.”
However, Navratilova called the notions of the senator of these checks for athletes.
“The existing blood. A simple cheek cheek as they do on television is a sure way to discover sex and it only has to be broken down [sic] Once, “she wrote.” No genital checks never !!! Stop spreading propaganda, democrats !!!! “”
