Travis Hunter reacts to women’s praises for her humble interaction on the flight

The recruit of Jacksonville Jaguars, Travis Hunter, made a woman’s day during a United Airlines flight to the point where she said that she would make her sons buy her jersey.

The woman called Hunter the “most handsome young man”, but the second overall choice of the NFL 2025 draft told PK Press Club Digital that there was no act behind.

“It was just a regular interaction. It was me who was me,” said Hunter on the phone while describing his experience with Sandy Hawkins Combs last week. “A nice lady sat down next to me, we conversed and we made sure to take care of her as I was doing my grandparents or any elderly person. So yes, that’s all.”

For Combs, however, it was more than someone who was nice to her, as she wrote In a Facebook publication.

“I had the most wonderful Denver flight,” she wrote. “I met the most handsome young man who sat next to me. He proposed putting my bag in the air compartment and helped me with my set. After hearing about this last piece of Combs, Hunter called it a “blessing” that she wanted to support him after the interaction.

Although he has been “regular” to Hunter, the star of Colorado business in Spotlight for many years now. He will only grow at the NFL level, especially given his rescue stock and how the jaguars have already set the high bar for the bidirectional player.

Hunter knows, however, that being humble plays a big role in his life, on and off the field.

“Just super excited to see me on my own card, so it’s definitely a blessing,” he said.

One day, Hunter’s recruit card could be worth the value of the pretty penny, but he understands that it is up to him to do so.

“I don’t know,” he told him how much he would pay for his recruit card. “I still have to do work.”
