Kansas City Chiefs Star Travis Kelce found the ideal moment for his teammate, Patrick Mahomes, back for something he said before their season in Brazil on Friday evening.
Mahomes and Kelce met media members in São Paulo, Brazil, one day, before facing the Los Angeles chargeers to start their campaign in 2025, and it was as usual to the presser with Mahomes answering a question on the preparation of the team in South America to play.
“We had a plan for that all summer, and now we are just ready to play football,” said Mahomes to his question.

Then, Kelce was questioned on all the fandom of the chiefs who were seen in the streets of São Paulo, and his answer had everyone in the cackling room. He imitated the hoarse voice of Mahomas.
“Oh guy, it was crazy. It was very fun to see all the fans there,” said Kelce, while the crowd laughed.

“Relax!” Said Mahomes laughing.
Kelce quickly turned to his own voice, explaining why he decided to take a little blow to his teammate and a best friend.

“He had the one who came for telling everyone that I did not know where Brazil was on the map,” said Kelce. “It’s an exciting period. You can hang around around guys and the team. This is something we will all remember.”
The regular NFL season is a real version, of which these two chiefs know a lot. This is why it is always good to be in a good mood, and sometimes it means removing a joke here and there.
Kansas City, however, is trying to start good foot in Brazil, going against a difficult AFC West rival in the loaders, led by second-year head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The last time the chiefs were on a football field was against the Eagles of Philadelphia in New Orleans for the Super Bowl Lix, and that did not end the way they wanted it. They failed to make the history of the NFL as the first team to have won three consecutive super bowls, but the confidence surrounding Kansas City did not hesitate despite the result.

Thus, while teammates are jokes, Kelce and Mahomes know that work must be done Friday evening to ensure a 1-0 start to the season against a formidable opponent.
