Travis Kelce has finally reacted to Taylor Swift’s most suggestive song and his brother Jason isn’t letting him off easy.
At the last New Heights EpisodeTravis was asked about Swift’s new track Drinkwhich fans say is full of innuendo referencing the NFL star himself.
Travis simply called it a “great song” before Jason started teasing him.
“Do you feel, do you feel – not confident – do you feel arrogant about the song ‘Wood’?” » asked Jason.
“No,” Travis replied. “Any song she references me in is very…”
“It’s not just any song. It’s a very specific you,” Jason interrupted. “It’s not just you. It’s an appendix. It’s a very specific thing.”
“What? I think you don’t understand the song,” Travis joked.
Jason continued by reading the lyrics out loud and joking, “Travis, come on. ‘The redwood ain’t hard to see’…I thought redwood is kinda, it’s a generous word, I think.”
“I think if someone wrote a song about me it would be like, ‘Japanese maple can see sometimes.'”
After Travis refused to take the bait, Jason concluded, “This song is awesome. The beat to this song is fantastic and it’s right up my alley, so well done.”
“I think inserting wooden innuendos is still childish enough for me to participate in.”
