The opinion came in the middle of a quarrel between President Donald Trump and the Governor of Maine, Janet Mills, on the refusal of the State to comply with the executive decree of the president of February to keep biological men outside female and girls sports.

The state was called “Ground Zero” in the national battle to prohibit and protect trans inclusion into female sports after the state legislator Laurel Libby made an article on social networks highlighting a trans athlete who won a competition for girls in girls in February.

“If Maine’s Democrats continue to double to allow biological men to participate in girls sports, our students lose hundreds of millions of dollars in federal funding. Governor Mills and legislative democrats have a renewed opportunity to do the right thing, to ensure restored funding and fair and fair playground for Maine’s girls,” said Libby to PK Press Club in response to the announcement determined.

“I appreciate the rapid and decisive action of the Trump administration, and I will continue to remain firm with our joint mission to maintain the rights of women and girls in Maine.”

The revelation by Libby of the Trans athlete sparked the national conversation and the coverage of state policy on trans inclusion after Maine announced that it would not respect Trump’s executive order.

Trump then promised to reduce the financing of the state for refusing to follow his order during a gathering of governors in the White House.

Only a few hours after this interaction, the United States Ministry of Education has announced that it would be investigate To allow Trans athletes to participate in sports and potential violations of title IX.

Police protection has since been assigned to high school which has been frequented by the Trans athlete that Libby has identified in his article on Facebook, in the midst of security concerns.

The Maine House of Representatives voted to censor Libby on February 25, the same day as the Department of Health and Social Services found the violated state IX.

Controversy even prompted a protest against MillsCalled “The March Against Mills”, which took place outside the Maine State House on Saturday morning. Several female athletes took the microphone during the march to denounce their democratic governor.

Trump has reaffirmed his intention to punish the states that continue to let the athletes transal with the girls at the Tuesday evening address at the Congress.

The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted that Trump “will not back down” as these states go.

“The president has undertaken to ensure that states are held responsible if they continue to allow men in female sports, which, according to him, is a blatant violation of taxpayers’ dollars, and so that this fight continues and that the president does not retreat,” said Leavitt. “This is a common sense policy, 80% of the American people, including more than 60% of the Democrats, do not want men in female sports.”
