President Donald Trump attends the latest cycles of the NCAA 2024-25 NCAA Championships on Saturday in Philadelphia.
For the president, he marked another judgment when visiting major sporting events in what was a presidency focused on sport.

“We are going to the big fight. … They have the NCAA, the world, the fight for the university. And I have always supported the wrestlers,” Trump told journalists outside the White House on Friday. “So I want to support them. These are the major university wrestlers of the different schools. I think Penn State is in the lead, and Nebraska is in second place right now. And many good things.”

The co-founder of Outkick, Clay Travis, announced on Tuesday the news that Trump would attend the event when he declared in an X post that he would travel with the president on Air Force One to the championships.
The White House confirmed on Friday that Trump would attend the event.
The president of the Chamber’s Judicial Committee, Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, would also have joined Trump in Philadelphia, a source familiar with his plans Tell to PK Press Club Digital.

Jordan was a champion of wrestling in high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he won a male wrestling title in Division I of the NCAA twice. He was then assistant coach to the Ohio State University wrestling program from 1987 to 1995.

Trump was seen during a few different sporting events since his victory in November.
Trump attended Daytona 500 in February and became the first president to be in practice to attend two Daytona 500 races at Daytona International Speedway. He attended the race for the first time in February 2020.
Trump participated in prerace festivities, driving in “The Beast” for a round before the race, and he had a special message for drivers broadcast on their radios.
Earlier in February, Trump became the first president to practice a Super Bowl. When Trump was shown at the stadium, noisy acclamation was heard on the fox broadcast by the crowd.

In December, Trump attended the 125th edition of the Navy Army match with vice-president JD Vance, Chamber of Chamber Mike Johnson, the head of the majority of Senate John Thune, the defense secretary Pete Hegseth and the national intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
Trump attended the annual rivalry match throughout his first presidency, for the first time in 2016, shortly after winning this year’s elections. He was also in the match during each year of his presidency, including in 2020 in West Point.
