YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has long been a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, the president returned the favor, offering his “complete and total support” if Paul chose to pursue political office.
Trump made the comments during a political rally in Hebron, Kentucky, at a logistics and transportation company.
Although Paul has expressed support for Trump’s second term, he has not said he plans to run for office.

Still, Trump suggested that Paul’s next act might not be in the ring but on the campaign trail.
“I’m going to predict that you will, in the not-too-distant future, be a candidate for political office,” Trump said. “You have my complete and total support.”

“What Mr. Trump taught me is courage. We never back down from a fight, even if they are way bigger than you, way bigger than you,” Paul said. “I think all local Kentuckians feel the same way. You have this fight. You have this spoils.”
Paul said he grew up just hours from Verst Logistics, the host company of the Kentucky rally, and called for similar factories to open across the country.

Trump told the crowd that he was initially hesitant when Paul invited him on his podcast during his term.
“His local podcast is a big thing, and he’s a big thing,” Trump said. “This guy has guts.”
