“He expects the Olympic Committee and the NCAA to not allow men to participate in female sports,” said Leavitt. “I think the president, with the signing of his pen, begins a very public pressure campaign on these organizations to do the right thing for women and girls.

“Once again, it is an incredibly popular position. There have been many notable female athletes who have had the courage to denounce very powerful institutions in this country. They deserve to have a voice and a word to say. The president brings their voice to the highest level of the White House.

The American Olympic team did not present a transgender woman. He presented a transgender non -binary athlete. Laurel Hubbard, a transgender woman, participated in the weightlifting for the New Zealand team. Canadian football player Quinn came out non -binary and transgender in 2020.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games included gender controversy concerning two boxers who participated in the female division. The International Olympic Committee clearly indicated that each boxer was eligible to participate in female weight classes.

Trump made equity in female sports a major campaign problem on the way to win the presidential election against former vice-president Kamala Harris in November.

In early January, a federal judge blocked the Biden administration attempt to redefine sex in title IX as “gender identity”. Then, the Trump Ministry of Education told schools from kindergarten to 12th year and higher education establishments that title IX protections would be recognized on the basis of organic sex.

Trump clearly indicated in December that he was going to end “transgender madness”.

PK Press Club Digital contacted the IOC, USOPC and NCAA to comment on Trump’s decree.
