The founder of Stop Anti -Semitism, Liora Rez, called FIFA and the 2026 White House World Cup working group to put an end to the campaign “Show Israel The Red Card” before the World Football Tournament.
The campaign started in February in a UEFA Champions League match in Scotland. Fans of Celtic FC deployed a banner that called FIFA and UEFA, the Confederation of which Israel is a part, to punish the country’s national team for its response to Gaza to terrorist attacks on October 7 in Hamas. There was no penalty against Celtic FC or his fans for the banner.
Since then, CBC has indicated that the campaign has spread to other European countries, including Italy, Spain and Belgium, as well as Brazil, Chile, Malaysia and Tunisia.

GRESS said FIFA had done nothing to fight the problem.
“We have not seen absolutely nothing, which is so alarming,” she told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview. “We have seen the leader of FIFA say and do, once again, absolutely nothing. We have seen that none of the fans are penalized or withdrawn from the games by holding these signs. Again, we want the working group that President Trump has set up to intervene in advance and be proactive and say no, it is not welcome in the United States. It will not fly here.
GRESS added that FIFA president Gianni Infantino should take a “solid position” against the campaign.
“I think it must be eradicated immediately,” she said. “Gianni Infantino must take a stand and say:” Fanatism and prejudice against the world’s only Jewish country are welcome in any type of organization that I direct. “He hasn’t done this yet.
“And because he did not do it, we call the working group of President Trump to intervene and demand that this kind of bias and isolation and defamation of Israel is simply not welcome in the United States. The Americans do not support it.”

PK Press Club Digital contacted FIFA and UEFA to comment.
President Donald Trump hit Andrew Giuliani, the son of the former New York mayor, Rudy Giuliani, as executive director of the working group.
In March, Trump signed a decree establishing the working group for the football tournament, which will be organized by the United States, Canada and Mexico. Trump will be president of the working group, while vice-president JD Vance will be vice-president. As executive director, Giuliani will be responsible for managing and supervising daily operations.
Trump also announced on Tuesday that Carlos Cordeiro, a main FIFA advisor, will serve as a main advisor to the working group.
The working group was created to direct federal efforts in support of the FIFA 2025 club World Cup and the FIFA World Cup 2026.
PK Press Club Digital contacted the White House to comment.
