President Donald Trump spent his Sunday afternoon with the Eagles star of Philadelphia Saquon Barkley while he and his teammates had to visit the White House.
Trump touched his time with Barkley as he spoke to journalists before Barkley and he went to Washington on Air Force One. The two were seen by leaving Marine One before the president addressed journalists who were waiting along the Tarmac.

“What a nice guy he is. I wanted to run him, but I decided not to do it,” said the president.
Barkley will be one of the players and staff of the Eagles who will celebrate their victory for the Super Bowl in the White House on Monday.
Barkley did not speak to journalists, but he was seen on the Bedminster golf course of Trump who drags with the president and others.
The appearance of the ball carrier with Trump occurred a few days after the Eagles teammate Jalen Hurts raised his eyebrows while he was silent on a question of knowing if he would make the White House with the team to celebrate his Super Bowl championship.
Leaving on the red carpet for the Time100 2025 gala Thursday evening, Hurts was asked if he had planned to visit the White House for the official visit next week on Monday.

Meanwhile, Trump canceled the invitation to welcome Eagles after several players said they would not participate in the visit due to his previous criticisms on the demonstrations of the national anthem.
